I visited CARAS in February 2018 for less than 48 hours. I mostly slept as the cold crisp air outside balanced the log cabin’s warm fire fueled feel good inside keeping me in a trance of peace and serenity; it was the perfect winter getaway! One chilly afternoon, Cindi lead myself and fellow Board Member on a tour of the path paved land pointing out her visions for bees, butterflies, dogs and farm animals as well as showing us a giant barn currently used for storage and a guest house she plans on renovating for future guests and volunteers! I look forward to spending relaxing yet productive seasons with the lucky animals living their best lives at CARAS!
